I was reading the post from a fellow blogger this morning, and she was reviewing her Wellness goals and progress for the month.
One of her goals was journaling, and she approached it from the perspective of a prayer journal. Her goal is to write a prayer every night before going to bed.
Keeping a journal is something I’ve wanted to do, but just haven’t motivated myself enough to actually start doing it. At least, not since I was ten years old and kept a diary.

So when I read what Leslie said about journaling a prayer, I decided that this was what I wanted to do, and for me, it would be a morning journal entry, my Good Morning Prayer Journal. I like the sound of that.
I have a regular morning routine that I try to remain faithful to, so adding a few minutes to write down a simple prayer is a good thing to incorporate.
And, I have a pretty journal that has not been written in yet, so I’m good in that regard, too. It’s one of the journals from my shop, Inspirations, and I think it is the perfect use for it!
I will make my first entry tomorrow morning, in my Good Morning Prayer Journal. And, I want it to be a prayer of gratitude, not a bunch of ‘give me’s’.
I have so much to be grateful for, and sometimes get caught up in all the small things that don’t even matter.
It’s all about gratitude.
